Meet Lance Bachmann
His clients say he’s a difference maker.
Lance Bachmann is an American digital marketing expert, and founder of one of the country’s leading digital marketing firms, 1SEO.com Digital Agency. Lance is also the co-founder of Shock I.T. Support and the former Vice President of AT&T and founder of YellowPages.com Premise Division.
Despite coming from humble beginnings, Lance Bachmann, a born and bred Philadelphian, relied on his tremendous self-discipline and sheer will and work ethic to raise himself up from his surroundings and fuel his hunger for personal and professional success.
No matter what anyone says about him, though, he is — without a doubt — at least one thing for sure: Lance Bachmann is a digital lion.
He’s a Digital Marketing Industry Expert
If you want to know what a genuine digital marketing expert looks like, take note of the career of Lance Bachmann. Look no further than 1SEO.com, the industry-leading digital marketing agency which Lance founded and currently serves as the President & CEO of. As a Google Premier Partner and Facebook Marketing Partner, with over 150 employees, 1SEO has helped countless businesses of all sizes grow online and has won numerous industry awards, including two US Search Awards in October 2019.
In fact, Lance Bachmann was interviewed by Google in 2017 and again 2019 to find out just how 1SEO.com has earned its place amongst the top marketing firms in North America and continues to drive success for its clients.
Having grown with the digital marketing industry during the boom of cellular and digital technologies, Lance was named the youngest Vice President in the history of AT&T. From there, he went on to found the Premise Division at YellowPages.com for the very fact that the digital space was priming itself for businesses to find success.
Once Lance realized that those who claimed to be digital marketers, at the time, neglected to value or respect the potential and opportunities the internet would soon provide, he understood that the product needed to adapt in order to keep up with its evolution.
He’s a Digital Marketing Authority
In the earliest days of digital marketing, Lance was so thrilled about the internet’s potential, that he left the security of his executive corporate leadership role, enlisted his sister, Jolin, and embarked to begin his own digital marketing firm: One that would always provide a product that could benefit clients and businesses of every size, and provide a customer service experience that would transform clients into family.
Since the inception of 1SEO.com, Lance has played pivotal roles in the launches, expansions, and sustained success of several businesses throughout Philadelphia and other locations across the United States.
He’s an Educator
A graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Business, Lance is regularly brought in to speak to aspiring entrepreneurs at Temple and is always looking to find teachable moments in every aspect of life for his peers, employees, and family. Lance will be the first to tell you that life is full of tough moments; it’s the willingness to learn and the desire to do better that lays the foundation for success in the digital space.
A proven thought leader, Lance is often recruited to share his expertise at prestigious conferences and expos throughout the country, teaching businesses how to grow online across virtually every industry.
Recently, Lance spoke with Facebook on stage in San Antonio, Texas and has been featured on some of the industry’s biggest stages, and hosted the 1Conference, an all-day free event where tri-state business owners had the opportunity to hear from Google, Facebook, the FBI, Datto, and many more speakers about how to grow their companies online through digital marketing, and protect their data with I.T. Support.
Throughout the years, Lance has been featured in publications and seen on stages at events such as:
He’s One of Philly’s Phavorite Sons
As one of over a dozen brothers and sisters, Lance’s Philadelphia roots run deep. Spending his early years in both Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia’s Tacony neighborhood– which, today, hardly resembles what it did during his formidable years from the late 1970s through the early 90s. And, if you ask him, Lance will proudly tell you that his humble beginnings instilled the work ethic which has carried him from selling flowers and pretzels on the corner of Frankford & Academy as a child to where he stands today: At the helm of a digital empire which hasn’t stopped expanding since its establishment in 2009.
Lance always says that America is the only country where you can grow up in orphanages and group homes and one day become a multimillionaire. He often sums it up with this quote:
“Can a man change his stars? If he believes enough, a man can do anything!”
He’s living, breathing truth that drive determines the outcome and is the guy you go see if you want to grow your business online.
In His Own Words: Lance’s Advice for Digital Marketers
Do you have the next great idea for a business? Are you looking to build your brand? Do you think you have the drive and determination to be as successful as you desire?
Fantastic — so does everybody else!
Please don’t mistake my honesty for arrogance. I want to emphasize to you that everybody’s goals include being the boss one day. Everyone’s goals are to have the mansion, the cars, the models, riches beyond the wildest of dreams… But, at the end of the day, that’s all they have “goals”. If you ask me, they only really have a wish– because the thin line that separates wishes from goals is effort, something which seems to be in short supply these days.
To sum it up, I’m here to tell you that the difference between a goal and a wish is a plan. If you’re reading this and are not one of my employees or family members, I’m willing to bet that’s because you have the desire to spread an idea or grow a business. If that’s the case, allow me to sincerely congratulate you for being here. I’m going to help get you where you’re going, which is why I’ve crafted a six step-by-step guide for new digital marketers. Now, get to work!

“At the end of the day, you have to be willing to work hard to get where you want to go. I want you to know that it’s easy to be an entrepreneur during the good times, but when things are going sideways and it’s time to roll up your sleeves, you can’t hesitate to dive in and get your hands dirty.”
